Vibro Menard , chief engineer
Frederic is a practicing geotechnical engineer who graduated from the Polytech Grenoble Engineering School (France) in 2009. Since graduating, he has worked in the field of geotechnical engineering for the ground improvement specialist company Menard. He spent seven years based in Marseille, where he successively played the role of site management engineer, design engineer and business engineer. During this time he developed his knowledge of ground improvement techniques, design and cost estimation, and Frederic has been involved in around 100 projects per year. In 2016 he became the technical manager for Vibro Menard in the UK with the goal of developing the ground improvement market and technical knowledge in the country. He has worked on several projects introducing innovative ground improvement techniques such as CMCs, Bi-Modulus Columns and Dynamic Replacement. Frederic’s recent projects include the Lidl Distribution Centre in Motherwell, the Translink Bus Depot in Belfast and the steelwork bridge in Sheerness.
