Atkins , geotechnical engineer
Tony is a geotechnical engineer working in Atkins’ Ground Engineering team. He has over 3 years’ experience working in the geotechnical industry primarily focusing on the transport geotechnics field. Throughout his university career he was an ICE QUEST scholar and gained experience in the Atkins’ Oil&Gas and Rail sectors, prior to joining Ground Engineering in 2016. His previous projects include Thames Water’s Eight2O Portfolio, Crossrail Anglia and Highway England’s A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement Scheme, where he was on secondment with the On-Site Design Team and acted as Geotechnical Value Engineering Lead. He is currently working on behalf of Connect Plus Services for the M25 DBFO Contract within the geotechnical asset management team. Tony is a STEM Ambassador for London & South East, a representative of Atkins’ Ground Engineering Academy, Secretary of the British Geotechnical Associations’ Early Career Group and a member of the ICE’s Initial Professional Development Panel.
